This November offers a timely occasion for houses of worship across Illinois to help share a universal message of hope and a celebration of life: National Donor Sabbath, an annual observance intended to raise awareness, through religious communities, of the urgent need for organ and tissue donation.

The special opportunity to call attention to the humanitarian commitment to donate life takes place during National Donor Sabbath, scheduled for the weekend of November 9-11.  We ask you to take part in the observance by encouraging your congregation to make faith-based decisions to become organ and tissue donors.

To support your involvement, Gift of Hope will provide you with materials at no charge, including communications materials and Donate Life decision cards to share with your congregation.

Contact us at vmoreno@giftofhope.org or 888/307-DON8 to request posters, bulletin inserts, brochures and an order form for materials that can be used during Donor Sabbath or any time of year.
