Join the AATF
With more than 150 volunteer members, our African-American Task Force educates the African-American community about donation through a network of chapters located throughout Illinois and northwest Indiana. Members include transplant recipients, donor family members, healthcare professionals and others with an interest in promoting organ and tissue donation.
Be a Part of the AATF Team
To join us in our important work, e-mail our Community Affairs Department or call us at 630/758-2686. As a new AATF volunteer, you will attend an orientation and training program to learn more about Gift of Hope, our public education messages and the facts about organ and tissue donation. Then, you will connect with other volunteers in your AATF chapter and coordinate donor education programs for civic groups, churches and other organizations in the African-American community.
