Prior to receiving his new driver’s license at 21, Brent asked both of his sisters if they were organ donors, to which they replied, yes! He never shared with his family whether he decided to make that commitment. On July 5, 2010, after a tragic accident, our family was approached by Angel, staff member from the Gift of Hope verifying that Brent was indeed a registered organ donor. We honored his wishes because he was one of the kindest men you could ever meet, he would give the shirt off his back to those in need, so his being a registered organ donor came as no surprise to us. Brent was fun loving, humorous & a friend to all he met. He was devoted to his family, his mom’s baby, on the lookout for his oldest sister & niece, a best friend with his dad, a partner in crime with his “twin” sister.
