Kim McCullough
Vice President, Marketing & Communications

Kim McCullough leads the development and implementation of integrated marketing, public relations and communications strategies, programs and functions that represent Gift of Hope to external stakeholders. McCullough collaborates with leadership to ensure internal and external marketing and communications across the organization are effective, integrated and aligned in achieving business goals and increasing life-giving donation. She oversees the strategic vision for the Marketing & Communications Department and provides related leadership and direction for the organization.

Prior to joining Gift of Hope, McCullough directed marketing and communications for Eversight, a Gift of Hope eye bank partner. Her more than 25 years of integrated marketing, communications, public relations, journalism and management experience also includes positions with The Joint Commission; Adler University; Concordia University Chicago; North Central College; Progressive Health Systems, now part of UnityPoint Health; and Sinai Health System. As Manager of Public Relations and Donor Family Services at Gift of Hope from 2001 to 2007, she developed and managed the organization’s new dedicated function for post-donation communications and services to donor families, and as well as public relations and marketing, public education, volunteers and campaigns including outreach for Illinois’ passage and adoption of state registry donor authorization.

McCullough has directed multiple award-winning programs and campaigns. She has chaired and served on multiple committees and presented at state and national levels for the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations, Donate Life America and the Illinois Coalition on Donation, for which she was founding chair.

McCullough holds a bachelor of science in news communication from Bradley University, Ill., and a master of arts in public affairs journalism from Columbia College Chicago.
