Executive Vice President of People & Culture
Lori Malatesta oversees the Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network’s personnel growth for the future. She provides direction for recruiting, hiring, training, developing and retaining staff. Her leadership is focused on maintaining an exceptional workforce. Malatesta leads ongoing initiatives to improve our organizational culture, including diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I). Malatesta leverages her experience in the areas of change management, training and development, organizational development and talent acquisition in her role at Gift of Hope.
Before joining Gift of Hope, Malatesta provided strategic HR leadership to large, best-in-class companies including Honeywell International, Amdocs and Commonwealth Edison.
Malatesta is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She serves on the board of directors of the Parks Foundation of Oak Park (Ill.) and is a volunteer at the Oak Park Food Pantry.
Malatesta holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources.
