Pamela Mitchell-Boyd

Pamela Mitchell-Boyd is the Senior Director for Inclusion and Equity at Ascension Health. She is a known champion for vulnerable populations and her work ensures that adults and children are provided with fundamental human necessities such as housing, education and healthcare.
In her role at Ascension Health, Ms. Mitchell-Boyd supports the implementation of the Equity and Inclusion framework across the organization, ensuring the Ascension leadership team, Executive Advisory Council, and the system-wide collaborative are informed and engaged in all diversity, inclusion and equity activities.
Ms. Mitchell-Boyd previously served as AMITA Health’s System Director for Diversity, Inclusion & Language Services. In that role, she led the Health Equity Committee, strategized with senior leadership on health equity initiatives and established AMITA’s Language Services program, which provides interpretive services in more than 100 languages. She also launched a review of race, ethnicity and language data to support work around health equity issues related to heart failure readmissions and COVID-19 health disparities.
