The 2016 edition of Portraits of Hope, our annual tribute to donor families and their loved ones, was held on Nov. 6 at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago.

During this moving event, more than 150 donor families and their friends gathered for a special day of hope and remembrance to honor their loved ones who offered the gift of hope through donation. Attendees at the event heard inspiring stories that celebrated the lives of these selfless individuals who gave of themselves through donation so that others may live.

This year, Gift of Hope partnered with Project Onward, a not-for-profit studio and gallery for professional artist with mental and developmental disabilities. These adult artists produced beautiful, custom-made portraits of many donors whose lives were honored at the event.
